Supporting breastfeeding mothers and babies is a big part of our work here at Simply MaMa.

We have well over 100 electric breast pumps that we rent out to mothers who need fully automatic pumps for breastfeeding complications or non-nursing infants. Our pumps are not only located in our store, but at French Hospital and Twin Cities Hospital for the convenience of their mothers, and at all of the French Hospital breastfeeding clinics throughout the county. Mothers who need a pump can call the store or the Breastfeeding Warmline at 541-BABY to secure a pump. Our rental rates are the lowest in the county. We have Medela pumps, including Lactinas, and Symphony pumps and Ameda/Egnell pumps for rent. We sell breast pump kits for mothers who need one for a rental pump including a complete supply of pump parts for all most brands of pumps. We also have electronic scales for rent.

We can bill Med-Cal or CenCal for mothers who are Medi-Cal or CenCal recipients. Medi-Cal usually covers 18 days of a pump rental so long as we have a copy of their Medi-Cal card and they provide us with and one of our prescription forms that signed by the baby's Pediatrician. For mothers who have rented a pump while on Medi-Cal but require the pump beyond 18 days, we offer a special low rate. CenCal covers a one month rental period with a current CenCal card and a doctor's prescription.

Mothers may prefer to purchase a breast pump. We have a wide selection of hand, battery operated, and electric pumps. We carry Medela and Hygeia breast pumps. Our staff is trained to help you select the best style of pump for your particular needs. Our pumps come with a written warranty and guidance on using the pump. Our pumps are offered for sale often below manufacturers suggested retail price. Mothers who are enrolled in the WIC Program are now eligible for deeply discounted Hygeia electric breast pumps with proof of their WIC participation.
